Verdict

Fatik looked to be a very useful prospect last season and, after an encouraging effort from his stablemate Irtahal here yesterday, he is taken to get off the mark in this interesting little contest. The step up to a mile should be ideal for him at this stage and he can get the better of Wood Fern, who made a very promising debut at Ripon last month, is taken as the best of the rest with experience. Sublimity was very green on his debut but has plenty of scope improvement at this sort of trip.
