In depth

Verdict

Visitant came here to land a similar class handicap over slightly shorter and though a 9lb rise looks harsh, Lewis Edmunds' 5lb claim is a big help. JACBEQUICK (NAP) carried a huge weight to victory in a Class 3 over 1m4f here earlier this month. This shorter trip is no problem and with Josh Doyle claiming 3lb, David O'Meara's charge will think he's on holiday so can go in again. Rockwood likes fast ground as he showed at Hamilton in May though he's been beaten three times from this revised mark since. In First Place has only won once in 13 starts but takes a step-up in trip and was staying on over a mile at Haydock last time. Lopito De Vega is 4lb out of the handicap and was due to run at Epsom last night.
