Verdict
The pair with experience, Fellow Ship and Royal Beacon should both improve for their debut's. The former, from the family of Oaks winner Bireme, is sure to do better over this trip, while this faster ground should help Royal Beacon. Coranglais has plenty of speed in his pedigree, but has suffered in the draw, while next to him is Eventually, whose dam was a winner over hurdles. Into The Breeze, a late foal, may find some of these too sharp at this stage of the season, while Midnight Song, who has the best of the draw and Tacitus, a 36,000 guinea yearling, must be noted if the market speaks in their favour, but a chance is taken with New Wish. From the powerful Channon yard, this February foal, should be more forward than his opponents and has the ideal draw in stall eight.
