Frankenstella, who goes well here, and Morando would be worth noting for any market support should the rains arrive. Themaxwecan won a Shergar Cup race under Jamie Spencer earlier this month but finished behind stablemate Soapy Stevens the time before at Goodwood in the race won by Trawlerman. Master Milliner won over 2m4f at Goodwood with Zoffee sixth and Withhold tailed off but Emma Lavelle’s stayer will have to defy a further 5lb rise to complete the hat-trick. Alfred Boucher is 5lb better off than when beaten a length-and-a-half by Soapy Stevens at Chester and has since run well on the Roodee over 1m4f. THUNDEROUS’ last win came in the Dante here in 2020 but he’s a class act and is well worth a second look under top weight with Ryan Moore doing the steering.
