Verdict

A small field but a great race in prospect for the 'Acomb', and this can be taken by Irish raider Celtic Cat, with Rule Of Law and Mutawaffer in with decent chances. Celtic Cat ran extremely green on debut, but still managed to win going away over five furlongs and will come on a heck of a lot for the run. Upped immediately an extra quarter-of-a-mile, plenty of progress is expected and he can take this. Course and distance winner Rule Of Law was most impressive when taking an ordinary maiden here last time, but will need to be every bit as good as he promised to land this. Nevertheless, he is proven over the trip and track and can give the selection most to do. Top Seed cannot be ruled out either, but there was a lot to like about the performance of Capped For Victory on debut at Sandown, and with that under his belt he must go close this time. Kieren Fallon again rides him. but even the champion may not have the answers to our selection Celtic Cat.
