Barsanti scored over track and trip when last seen in a handicap but is 9lb higher today having been placed in Listed company subsequently. Stars Over The Sea is preferred to stablemate Yorkidding but is upped 7lb for winning a lower grade contest at Pontefract. He also finished ahead of a below-par SHAKOPEE over 1m2f at Goodwood before that but the latter had won at Doncaster on his penultimate start and could go close today with the longer trip looking sure to suit.
