        Verdict

        The weights are headed by Sierra Vista, who has left behind a defeat in selling company to score twice in handicaps. She has been handed a whopping fourteen pound rise for that effort and it way well pay to look elsewhere. Foolhardy has been the subject of many favourable reports in the past and the Haggas team are in form. She steps back up in trip today and if her first effort is forgiven, she comes with every chance. Magic Myth, on the other hand, is arguably one to oppose. Her trainer has stated that she needs a softer surface and the rain has not come to North Yorkshire. Mick Channon's Aries is potentially the lively outsider. Hailing from an in-form stable, she has looked green in her appearances so far but more improvement looks likely and she has not been harshly treated by the handicapper. The Teamtalk selection goes to Nuit Sombre. Mark Johnston's colt is a dual scorer in the North and looks a fairly adaptable colt - equally able to dominate from the front or come from behind. The trainer has a 23% strike rate with his two-year-olds and is expected to add to it on this occasion.
