Verdict

MIMIKYU (NAP) concedes 5lb to all rivals but sets a strong standard. Highly progressive last term, the Gosden filly was an impressive winner of the Park Hill Stakes at Group 2 level and probably had had enough for the season when disappointing on Champions Day when last seen. This looks a good starting point for her new season. She was well clear of River Of Stars in the Park Hill but the Beckett filly remains lightly-raced after two seasons and is expected to progress again this time around. Sea Flawless takes a huge jump from Class 5 novice stakes to Group 3 company and this will inform how good she is, but William Haggas rarely tilts at windmills. Irish raider Moon Daisy looks best of the more exposed brigade along with Typewriter, a good fourth here latest albeit in handicap company.
