In depth

Verdict

The four-year-old Super Six was a huge price in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham but ran a fine race to finish fifth and he is still getting 6lb from his older rivals. Knappers Hill beat stablemate Stage Star and Peking Rose in a Listed race at Ascot in December and Megan Nicholls keeps the partnership intact but he is one of several unexposed types in this including the Nicky Henderson pair BALCO COASTAL and Mot A Mot. Nico de Boinville’s mount beat a subsequent winner on his debut under Rules at Kempton and the pair pulled a long way clear. He may have most to fear from the Olly Murphy pair Sure Touch and Go Dante, who have also had a winning debut franked and are open to plenty of improvement.
