      Verdict

      A small but select field line up for the Sagaro Stakes including that most game of stayers Persian Punch, who has his first start on a British racecourse since a fine third in the Melbourne Cup. Other familiar favourites from recent seasons making their reappearance here include the James Fanshawe-trained Invermark and Solo Mio, who was a revelation for Amanda Perrett last term. However, Double Honour is expected to take plenty of beating against the older and more established two milers this season and with the benefit of two runs already the four-year-old could be the answer to this fascinating contest.
