Verdict
Richard Hannon's Approval had both Funfair Wane and Good Girl behind him when chasing home Twilight Blues in the European Free Handicap at Newmarket two weeks ago and should confirm the form with both. A bigger danger to the likely favourite then could well be the Nerys Dutfield-trained Lady Dominatrix who looked in need of the run when fourth behind Queen's Logic in the Fred Darling just three days previously. Falcon Hill looked a shadow of the horse that won on his reappearance at Doncaster in March and it is probably too soon to write him off.
