      Verdict

Raising Sand has run his best races here but isn’t getting any younger. He did beat Baltimore Boy and AL MARMAR over course and distance last September, however, though the latter was given plenty to do that day and could reverse the form in first-time blinkers. He had Two Tempting well behind on the Round Course here last July. Keyser Soze won this two years ago and Repertoire landed last year’s renewal while Chasing Aphrodite came to hand early last season, though has no experience on going this soft. Being 2-2, Yaanaas has obvious claims but he is making his handicap debut and having a first run on Turf and his yard is hardly firing on all cylinders at present.
