Verdict

REIGNING PROFIT made all over the course and distance last week where he never really looked like being caught. A 5lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent a quick double. Seven-times winner Motawaazy has been slowly dropping to a winnable mark and showed very good speed over 6f at Catterick a week ago while Mews House has been in good form on the all-weather and his rider's claim puts him on a fair mark. Huddle Up, twice a winner in Ireland, looked the likely winner when taking up the lead inside the final furlong over 6f at Thirsk but was run out of it close home. Ernest Rutherford, also a winner in Ireland, will be better for last week's debut for Tim Easterby at Beverley.
