REDFORD has long been regarded as having the ability to make it at this level but has proved hugely frustrating after winning three of his first six starts. However, David Nicholls looks like getting him to deliver on his latent ability and he can follow up success in two top handicaps with a first victory in Pattern company. Genki wasn't far behind him at Ayr and rates a huge threat, the first three home from last year do battle again and High Standing has more than enough ability to lift this prize but has proved slightly frustrating this term. Bewitched could go close if getting the luck in running, Doncaster Rover has been running well all year and deserves to land a decent prize whilst Taajub is an interesting contender as he has his first start since finishing second in the Cornwallis Stakes on this card 12 months ago.
