Verdict

Drying ground would be a concern for SPANISH DUKE but he's taken to land a competitive race as long as conditions come up soft. The ground had probably dried out too much for him at Doncaster last time in a race where the winner got first run and can make amends. Rock N Roll Ransom recorded a bloodless success over course and distance and merits respect in this stronger race. Kings Destiny ran well in the mile and a half handicap on this card last year but is effective at this trip, handles soft ground and has claims despite being relatively exposed. The market may well guide to the chances of Seven Summits who has his first run since being gelded and leaving Aidan O'Brien; he could be smart while Suits Me is never easy to pass from the front and he should help set a decent pace which can help to bring out the best in Greylami.
