      Verdict

      Just the six runners but plenty of quality among them with Right Approach taken to reverse Queen Anne running with Tillerman. The last mentioned is a capable performer as he showed at the royal meeting for the second year running but does not win as often as he should and preference is for Sir Michael Stoute's colt, who looks on the upgrade. Highly regarded as a two-year-old, the son of Machiavellian has taken time to really come to himself but proved here last month that he has the potential to be Group 1 class and, having followed the disappointing Hawk Wing and having to be pulled out wide in the Queen Anne, is expected to get the better of Tillerman (only beat him by three-quarters of a length last time) today. Duck Row is another that tends to win in turn and he lacks a recent outing anyway. Beauchamp Pilot is held by the selection on running last time, while Lips Lion would prefer a softer surface. Passing Glance looks out of his depth.
