    Verdict

An Irish-trained filly has landed the spoils in three of the last four renewals and PLEASCACH looks to have every chance of doing the same. She followed up a Group 3 win over 1m2f with victory in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and Jim Bolger's versatile filly should have no trouble lasting home over this longer trip. Wedding Vow came up short in the Listed Oaks Trial when odds-on at Lingfield and Ryan Moore switches his attention to the progressive Curvy on the back of her Group 3 victory at the Curragh. The remainder all have something to prove at this level but Pamona beat Entertainment and Brandybend in Listed company at Newbury when third on her reappearance and Gretchen, a half-sister to Irish St Leger winner Duncan, is interesting stepping up in class after making a winning start in a Newmarket maiden. Pandora's third to subsequent French Oaks winner Star Of Seville in the Musidora at York looks better in hindsight but Zamoura and Forte are up against it.
