A handicap crammed with fillies who have been competing at a higher level. It’s wide open with several top yards saddling multiple runners. Polly Pott won the May Hill as a juvenile but her two runs this year have left much to be desired and she’s changed stables. Magical Sunset, a Listed winner in her first season, was finishing well over 7f at Epsom and may be suited by a first try over a mile. Foniska drops back in trip and could prove the pick of the Irish contingent, ahead of the lightly-raced Jackie Oh and Ma Belle Artiste, with Colin Keane fresh from riding a first Royal Ascot winner on Wednesday. Frankie rides Coppice, who makes her handicap debut, but her stablemate BRIDESTONES shouldn’t be underestimated. William Buick switches to Charlie Appleby’s Dream Of Love but James Doyle is a capable deputy on the beautifully-bred daughter of Teofilo who can overturn Fred Darling form with Embrace and Magical Sunset on much better terms. She is back over a mile for the first time since her winning debut at Yarmouth. Drawn on the opposite side, the maiden Copy Artist could have each-way claims while Chelsea Green won a shade cosily at Newmarket, though none of those behind have franked the form.
