YOU'LL BE MINE is preferred to Long Lashes and Mudaaraah. Long Lashes was quickly snapped up by her current connections after making a winning debut in Ireland and she justified their confidence when winning a Group 3 at Newmarket in August. Her subsequent defeat was put down to the heavy ground at the Curragh which is plausible and the vibes have been strong all week but it remains to be seen whether the race has left its mark. Therefore, preference is for You'll Be Mine who showed the benefit of her debut when reversing the form with useful yardstick Hedaaya in facile fashion. She was impressive that day despite still looking a shade inexperienced and is an exciting prospect. Sent From Heaven was over two lengths behind Long Lashes at Newmarket but battled on well to hold off the challenges of Mudaaraah and Blue Angel amongst others at Goodwood. Mudaaraah endured a typical Goodwood run and can reverse the form with a clearer passage and appeals as a likelier threat. John Gosden has sent out four recent winners of this race but Dyna Waltz has plenty to find unlike Hibaayeb (who chased home Pollenator at Doncaster) and Lady Darshaan (who shapes as though she'll relish this trip) but it's doubtful as to whether they possess the class to lower the colours of You'll Be Mine.
