        Verdict

        Pastoral Player came up short in a similar classified event here earlier in the month and TRUTH OR DARE is preferred. The latter was fourth in a tough handicap at the same meeting here and George Wood’s allowance could give him the edge today dropping down a grade. Fastnet Tempest is upped in class after winning at Yarmouth and Raising Sand makes more appeal on his latest second at Windsor. Cincuenta Pasos has done all his winning over shorter trips to date but In The Red went close on his belated comeback at Leicester and Haaf A Sixpence has a shout off his current mark on his first start of the year.
