Aydoun made a winning start in a maiden race over 1m4f at Listowel earlier this month and Dermot Weld will not have sent him across the Irish Sea for a day out. But PLATITUDE (NAP) has the proven form at this level having won a Listed race over today’s trip at Goodwood by five lengths and he gets the nod to defy a 3lb penalty and go in again. Fireglow is a Listed winner over 1m4f but was outclassed in the Yorkshire Oaks last month while Alyssa suffered a similar fate in the Park Hill at Doncaster and The Tartan Spartan was tailed off at the same track in the St Leger.
