Verdict

Ueueteotl has a penalty for a short-head victory at Carlisle in October and though subsequently beaten at Wetherby he was by no means disgraced and should have no problems with Malibu Dancer, his only rival with experience. Alan Swinbank runs both Big Water and Bob's Lady Tara with preference for the former, who has more of a Flat-racing pedigree. Donald McCain's newcomer, the French-bred SMADYNIUM, could be good enough to make a winning start as his dam is closely related to numerous winners on both the Flat and over hurdles.
