In depth

Verdict

CUFFLINK had slipped down the ratings before landing a moderate Yarmouth handicap last week and a 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent a follow-up in this equally low-grade contest. Lord Franklin does best with some give in the ground and Barton Bounty has only ever won at Wolverhampton. Grand Diamond has been hurdling without much success but is very well handicapped if anywhere near his best while Lil Sophella is the most unexposed in the line-up and couldn't get any lower in the ratings. Cherry Tree Hill hasn't shown much to date despite being well supported at Wolverhampton last time.
