In depth
Verdict
Jordaura is on a hat-trick and, though 4lb out of the handicap, his rider's claim will aid his cause though this is tougher. Cosmic Halo will love the quick ground but a 7lb rise for his Doncaster success looks a bit harsh. Fort Belvedere was making his handicap debut when caught close home by the in-form Toto Skyllachy at Beverley and has plenty of improvement in him but this can go to AWAKE MY SOUL. He completed a double on quick ground at Beverley and Ripon before finding the going too soft in a better race at York. There are plenty of other dangers in an open handicap with the progressive Star Lahib certainly amongst them after a very good effort at Chester.
