Verdict
A low-grade contest in which few boast solid recent form but Glenfarclas Boy is a notable exception and gets the vote ahead of some moderate rivals. Lucinda Russell's gelding came back to form when runner-up in slightly better company here last month having attempted to make all over a half-mile longer trip. The return to the minimum distance will suit and the son of Montelimar should prove hard to peg back in these conditions. Just For Ger was a consistent performer at this level over fences last year but has shown little in two hurdles starts this season to suggest an imminent return to form. Mumbai has claims on his placed efforts in novice company last November but is best watched after a dismal performance last time while course and distance winner San Francisco has looked on the downgrade this year.
