Verdict

Stuart Crawford won this last year with the newcomer Heritage Way so Cornerman has to be shown the greatest respect under AP McCoy. Professor Plum scrambled home to complete a double at Musselburgh but has a double penalty to carry but Crockett caused an upset when making a successful debut at Wetherby. That race was over 1m4f but the four-year-old stayed on strongly and will be suited by the extra here. Duke Arcadio went for £80,000 after a very easy victory between the flags at Largy so could be anything but the vote in an open contest goes to TAJSEER. Gordon Elliott's charge is bred to be a class-act on the Flat and has been well entered up over the past few weeks so he'll be ready for this and could prove to be useful.
