In depth

Verdict

There is a question mark against a few of these back on Turf, including Perfect Soldier and Wrath Of Hector with the latter also upped in distance. JOYFUL STAR is one of several previous course winners in the line-up and the 10-year-old has every chance of ending a 12-run losing stretch on his second at Musselburgh as he gets 5lb from Thirsk winner Travel Lightly, though the latter is much respected and preferred to Royal Countess, who is also penalised. Carlow Boy and Rock Warbler are others with decent claims.
