Verdict

There will be no hanging about here as Overturn, Bygones Of Brid, Hunterview and Cockney Trucker all like to force the pace. There must be a danger that the front-runners will cut each other's throats and that may set things up nicely for MILLE CHIEF to arrive late and land the spoils. Alan King's five-year-old is a strong traveller and, though outclassed in the Champion Hurdle last time, should find this company more to his liking. Via Galilei is another who likes to come off a fast pace and he can confirm Aintree running with Nearby but Sanctuaire has been below his best so far this term and Apartman is likely to struggle at the weights.
