In depth

Verdict

MONEL is on the upgrade and worth sticking with in this company. He bids for a hat-trick after a couple of C&D victories and Jim Goldie's three-year-old has enough scope to defy a 6lb rise in the weights. Weetentherty has been running well in sellers at Hamilton, but Eternal Instinct and Beckermet make more appeal having been placed in better company of late. Tadalavil won this on sort of ground last year but is out of sorts at present, while Burnwynd Boy and Royal Blade could prove best of the remainder.
