    Verdict

The unexposed In Love is likely to go off favourite for the opener but may not represent value in the market and it might be worth giving a chance to Eton, who makes more appeal than the consistent pair of Ambushed and Ben Hur. The selection, who is trained by David Nicholls has dropped to a fair mark and showed at Beverley earlier in the month that his turn may be around the corner when a close sixth behind The Judge. Eton is well treated on his best and has conditions to suit so may prove worth a punt at the forecast odds. In Love has done little wrong in three starts and remains open to improvement but, being by Unfuwain, may prefer a softer surface. Ambushed, by comparison, looks pretty much exposed now and a bigger danger may prove to be Ben Hur, who comes from the stable of Mark Brisbourne that is beginning to come into form. The inconsistent Red To Violet and Jim Goldie's Constantine are both worthy of a mention but we are happy to stick with Eton.
