Verdict
Like a lot of the stable's horses, Liberty Seeker has shown improved form of late with a good win over course and distance earlier this month and the six-year-old is taken to follow up here at the main expense of Instructor and Rotuma. The last mentioned has slipped to an attractive mark but is proving to be difficult to win with and may again be best watched. Similar comments apply to Jim Goldie's Tony Tie, who is probably better over shorter anyway, while Able Mind has more to do than when scrambling home in an amateur riders' handicap at Carlisle last time. Eric Alston's Intricate Web would prefer a softer surface and of more interest may be United Spirit, who got to within a length of the selection last time and has claims at the weights but is not the most consistent of horses. Richard Fahey's Instructor was also behind Liberty Seeker that day and cannot be discounted lightly but Ian Semple's horse won with a little more in hand than the winning margin would suggest and is taken to follow up.
