Verdict
Whittle Warrior had Ground Zero a length behind when the pair finished first and second respectively in a one-mile nursery at Ripon late last month and there should not be much between them once again on identical terms. However, the winner was given an enterprising ride but carried his head awkwardly in the closing stages and doesn't look the heartiest of battlers. Ground Zero, who looked unlucky when finding trouble in running in a competitive Haydock nursery last time, therefore gets the TEAMtalk vote to reverse the form on this occasion. Rutters Renegade looks on the upgrade after wins at Newcastle and Redcar last time but is now 4lb higher and steps up in grade while Pacific Paddy had his limitations exposed last time.
