In depth

Verdict

Jim Goldie runs four with Genevieve, the first foal of a winning sprinter partnered by Paul Mulrennan, perhaps best of those. Maggie's Tern is the most exposed but has failed to replicate last summer’s second at Leicester in three subsequent outings so the vote goes to WOOBAY. The latter never threatened when third at Redcar on her reappearance but still finished well ahead of Bloomin Robbery while Loch Carron hasn’t raced for just over a year.
