In depth

Verdict

Woven won nicely on the soft going at Doncaster but third-placed FAST AND LOOSE is taken to reverse running on this faster surface. The latter went close in last year’s Bronze Cup here and a repeat should see him in the mix once again. Abduction finished runner-up dropped down to 5f at Musselburgh with Shalaa Asker back in fifth while Soldier's Minute drops down in class with a shout but the veteran Venturous hasn’t won on the Turf since 2021.
