In depth

Verdict

Wolverhampton runner-up Lawmans Blis has just the one win in 22 starts though the rest of these haven’t won anywhere yet. Paramaribo went close over 2m at Musselburgh when finishing in front of Ask Peter but TWO AULD PALS posted a better effort over today’s trip in a Class 4 contest at Hamilton last week and should find this easier. The latter’s new stable companion Baez has gone close off today’s mark in the past while Billy Bathgate finished well ahead of Scottish Wind when fourth at Musselburgh.
