    In depth

    Verdict

Iced Diamond, Inch High and Spanish Law, are three against the field in another nightmare for punters and the tentative vote is given to Iced Diamond. The selection won well last time out when beating Keep Bacckinhit, that form has since been franked and des[ite his penalty under conditions that suit he is taken to defy the handicapper. Inch High rates the main danger on his latest third behind Tidy but this looks much more competitive and he remains a maiden and looks opposable on that basis. Spanish Law is another that could go well on his latest second behind Magic Warrior but he continues to rise in the weights for getting beat and for that reason he is opposed. Bahrain Gold was a staying on fourth behind Piccleyes last time and will relish this longer trip so could go well at a price but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Iced Diamond.
