Forestside was almost certainly in need of his comeback run at Down Royal earlier in the month and would be a major factor here if recapturing the form he showed in some decent novice races in Ireland around this time last year. But we must give another chance to RIVAL D'ESTRUVAL, who still had a couple of useful novices behind despite failing to justify favouritism at Catterick on his latest start in December. His long-term future is likely to lie over fences but this should still be well within his range. And The Man showed promise over C&D on only his second start and could make the frame, but Still Calm returns from a long lay-off and Inoogoo is probably best watched on his hurdles bow.
