    Verdict

    Vintage Clarets showed the benefit of his opening run to score over Beverley's stiff 5f where he appreciated the fast ground. But he has to concede a winner's penalty to LOVE DE VEGA, who only just failed to make all the running at Newmarket and can take advantage of the weight concession. Taa Laa couldn't go the pace at Wolverhampton while Novak is bred for further.
