Petitioner wasn’t beaten far when fifth at Beverley 12 days ago and finished ahead of the disappointing Sir Charles Punch but AL KHERB looks thrown in on his best form. He was a fair fourth over hurdles at Newcastle last month, despite indifferent jumping, and wears cheekpieces for the first time. Low Profile produced a much-improved effort at Catterick and his yard is in fine form but Termonator prefers the all-weather. Fitness could be an issue for the returning Blistering Barney and Major Snugfit but Tundra has claims in an open-looking contest.
