In depth

Verdict

Royal Rosa is taken to get back on winning track at the main expense of Sinalco and Torosay. The gelding from the Howard Johnson yard is held in very high regard and a reproduction of his latest second behind Sh Boom in a grade 2 event at Haydock makes him impossible to oppose in this grade despite the fact he is dropping in trip. Torosay rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Provocative. He is sure to have come on for the run and he has definite place claims. Sinalco could also go well he was a fair fourth under similar conditions behind Sherkin Island last time but he will have to improve significantly to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Flaming Heck has also shown a little ability and is worth noting in the market but the confident vote goes to Royal Rosa.
