Verdict
The Laird's Entry, Brave Thought and Artic Lagoon look the ones to concentrate on in this novices chase and the vote goes to The Laird's Entry. The gelding from the Len Lungo yard was a good fourth behind the highly regarded Grattan Lodge last time and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Brave Thought is also worthy of respect he was fourth behind Eastern Tribute last time but he may struggle to give weight and a beating to the selection. Artic Lagoon could also go well on his best form but he was pulled up for no apparent reason last time and can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Finbar's Law is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to The Laird's Entry.
