Tim Easterby has enjoyed a fantastic season so far and FIRST CLASS FAVOUR could add to what has been a fruitful month for the North Yorkshire handler. Third on her most recent outing at Beverley, she should find life more to her liking on this surface and she is weighted to reverse Thirsk form with Emerald's Spirit. Oddysey rattled home in a race at the course over seven furlongs and she steps up to a mile for the first time. Social Rhythm is a previous C&D winner having obliged on fast ground in May. Alistair Whillans mare is still 5lb lower in the handicap than she was at this stage last year, but she has proved hard to catch right in the past. Sabratha was due to run at the course on Monday so we'll take a watching brief in relation to the chances of Linda Perratt's charge.
