Verdict

Donald McCain runs no less than four with jockey bookings suggesting Trick Of The Tail is the stable preferred. However, he's yet to produce anything of real substance and stable companion Reggae De Baune makes more appeal on hurdling debut after showing some promise on the second of two bumper starts. On Cloud Nine has an each-way chance for the yard but it's hard to side with one of the quartet and therefore MASTER PLAYER is taken to make a successful hurdling bow, The Hanlon gelding has fair bumper form in Ireland and has shown his best on decent ground. Sean Bowen is a good booking. Churchman may have needed the run on hurdling debut in April following an absence of over 300 days and appeals as a potential improver.
