        Verdict

        Schapiro gets the vote to open his account over hurdles with Selencio and Moon Catcher rating the main dangers. The selection won when last seen on the flat in a maiden handicap when defeating Race The Ace. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Moon Catcher is another to note in the market he was a fair fourth behind Nocatee on his hurdling debut and is sure to have learnt from the experience but he may be seen to better effect when handicapped. Selencio was a fair second behind Fire Dragon last time and again has definite place claims but he has already given the impression he will be seen to better effect over further and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Norma Hill is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Schapiro.
