In depth

Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this amateur riders handicap hurdle with many in form rivals in opposition including York Rite, Redouble and Totland Bay and the confident vote goes to York Rite. The gelding from the Richard Guest yard won well in fist time french blinkers last time when defeating Miss Lacoix over course and distance. If they work again he will be hard to beat as he had plenty in hand and conditions are again in his favour. Redouble rates the main danger he is a regular in these types of races and a reproduction of his latest fourth behind He's The Biz would see him go close. Totland Bay is also worthy of consideration on his latest second behind Mister Webb but the drop in trip is not sure to suit so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Vitelucy is another in form but she was all out to win over a shorter trip last time and is not sure to stay this longer trip. Knockdoo is another in form but he is not the most reliable so we are happy to stick with York Rite.
