Verdict
Unless Sir d'Orton improves greatly on what he showed on his second start after over a year off the track this is expected to go to Extra Cache, who gets the vote to complete a hat-trick over Canadiane and Nosam. The selection has been in goof form in novice chase company recently and does not appear to be too badly treated off a mark of 120 for his handicap debut over fences. Canadiane is a consistent performer but seems plenty high enough in the weights at present, while Wetherby winner Nosam has never won of a mark as high as todays and may have to settle for a place at best. Suspendid has won a couple of weak races at Ludlow and has more to do now in this company.
