In depth
Verdict
Another contest which has cut up badly having had 23 entries initially. Winged Hussar, without a win for three years, has two ways of running and is normally one to lay rather than to back, while Tirley Storm won an egg and spoon race at Fakenham from out of the handicap, something he again faces here. Colonial Sunset is of limited ability, but this isn't a strong race and must have a chance of sorts. However, the one to be with is Brandsby Stripe, who was a lucky winner here on his chasing debut earlier this month, but is at least open to some improvement and is at the right end of the handicap. He has nothing to fear from Red Alert Man, who was left trailing in his wake that day and is only 4lbs better off this time.
