In depth

Verdict

BUTLER'S BRIEF (NAP) has shown a good attitude to land three of his last five starts and Alastair Ralph's gelding could boost that ratio further despite being 19lb higher than was the case for the first of those successes in December. He gets on really well with Nick Scholfield and the combination can complete the three-timer. Craigmor, last of six on his comeback run last month, should do better in first-time blinkers and Famous Response is an intriguing contender. The seven-year-old has only had a couple of runs under Rules - both with Dan Skelton - and now has a first run since July last year when a Uttoxeter scorer. Hard to assess, he's one to take note of.
