In depth

Verdict

SIR TIVO, raised 21lb for two victories and a second on his last three starts, will obviously find life tougher off his new mark but may still continue the good work. His hat-trick attempt was only denied in the last strides at Stratford and the winner has boosted the form with a subsequent Uttoxeter success. Go Long concedes the selection 12lb but his overall profile reads well and he contested a much better race last time. Rizzardo wasn't beaten far last time but Boagrius is preferred for the shortlist from a handicapping perspective racing off a career-low mark.
