    Verdict

LIGHTLY SQUEEZE comes here with a penalty for an emphatic victory at Doncaster on soft ground but that's unlikely to prevent another big run and he can go in again. Seafarer has only raced on fast going and has gone up 7lb for his defeats at Yarmouth and Sandown while Nathan was beaten a long way into second in a Leicester maiden having changed stables. Pivoine was overestimated by the assessor after his Kempton victory and is only slowly coming down but Je Suis Charlie, who ran poorly on fast going at Haydock, did much better in softer conditions earlier and looks the main threat.
